Following the decision by the WZO Central Elections Committee (CEC) regarding the petition filed on 7 August 2025 by Mercaz, important changes have been made to the Uganda delegate re-election schedule.

Firstly, all ZIMU members who have missing documents, such as Conversion certificates, National IDs, or Birth Certificates, must submit these to the UAEC Chairperson by 10:00 AM on Sunday, 17 August 2025. This is essential to confirm voter eligibility.

According to the Chairman UAEC’s latest communication, the re-election initially set for Sunday, 17 August, has been postponed to Thursday, 21 August 2025. On this new date, polling will run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the previously designated polling stations.

The updated voter register will be publicly displayed on Monday, 18 August, and the final list will be available by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, 19 August 2025. Members are encouraged to check the register carefully.

Your full cooperation is kindly requested to ensure a smooth and fair election process.
